Proverbs 11:22

[As] a gold ring in a swine's snout, is a beautiful woman from whom sense has departed.

Beauty is not much, if the woman with it does not know how to act. It is hard to appreciate a nose ring on a stinking, grunting, and hairy pig! Such is an attractive woman without the personal graces to be pleasant company. An average looking woman without discretion is just the sow without the nose ring!
